Babysitter's Training is my favorite Red Cross course to
teach -- probably because I enjoyed being a babysitter myself.
And now I know that my time spent as a teen babysitter would have
been even more enjoyable had I been well-trained for the job.
This is a very interesting and fun course where students gain
the skills and confidence to safely and responsibly care for
children and infants through hands-on activities, interactive video,
and lively discussions. It's perfect for anyone 11 to 15 years
old who wants to be the best babysitter they can be!

Cyndea Wendell has worked with the
Williamson County American Red Cross in Franklin, Tennessee
since 1999, both as a Certified Health & Safety Instructor and as a
volunteer. She has taught CPR, First Aid, AED Training, Emergency
Response, Wilderness First Aid, Babysitter's Training, CPR for the
Professional Rescuer, Workplace Modules (i.e. Your Heart Matters;
Workplace Violence Awareness; Managing Stress; Ergonomics; Back
Injury Prevention; and Slips, Trips, and Falls), and Operation Always
Ready. Currently, as an American Red Cross Authorized Provider, she
teaches Babysitter Training Classes throughout middle Tennessee.
