RELEASE OF FIRST VIDEO
Gordon has just released his first music video, "I'M STILL HERE", a working people's anthem, written with Marty Rainone. Though this song was written over 14 years ago and was on Gordon's debut CD "Memory Machine", and has been performed many times over the years, it has never seemed more relevant than right now, with all the Occupy demonstrations across the nation and around the world.  You can see this video by going to the Video Page, and can purchase the song from the bottom of the Music Page.

SEPTEMBER 14, 2011

Gordon had the honor of performing two of his songs at the Center For Spiritual Living Nashville (CSLN) Sunday Morning service on September 14th.  Both songs, "It's Always There", co-written with Marty Rainone, and "Are You Listening", done as a duet with Sean O'Shea, received standing ovations.  The latter is a dialogue, sung between a doubting singer and God (Sean got to play God).  Hopefully, there will be a recording of the song on this site before too long.

MAY 6, 2011

After 12 years of co-leading the Co-Creators' Coffeehouse at Center For Spiritual Living-Nashville, Gordon decided to hand over the reins to co-host Butterfly, on the 12th Anniversary of this event.  Backed by a 4 piece band and backing vocals, Gordon did a 1 hour concert, in front of a large and enthusiastic crowd.  He was awarded a plaque of appreciation from Dr. Mitch Johnson, and received a standing ovation at the end of the concert.  It was a great night.  The Coffeehouse continues on the first Friday of each month.

MARCH 5, 2011

Gordon performed "I'm Still Here" at another rally at Legislative Plaza to support the right to collective bargaining for teachers and other public employees.  Despite a persistent downpour, an estimated 3-5 thousand people (depending on which TV news station did the estimating) showed up.  Gordon's song was the only live music at the event, which drew supporters to Nashville from all over Tennessee and even Kentucky, and at the end of the song, the crowd could be heard chanting "Still Here! Still Here!"

FEBRUARY 28, 2011

Gordon performed "I'm Still Here", a working persons song written with Marty Rainone, at a Move On rally in Nashville, to support teachers and other public employees in Wisconsin and around the nation, in support of their right to collective bargaining.  Hundreds of people cheered the song when it was done, and a brief clip was shown on the local Channel 5 (CBS) News.  Afterwards, Gordon was asked if he would sing it again at an upcoming larger rally next week and he is currently awaiting confirmation of this.

FEBRUARY 8, 2011

Gordon is now offering a free "Song of the month" from this website.  To access the song, go to the "Music" page and scroll to the bottom where you will see the Bandbox player.  It shows all the songs available for download and there will be one title listed as free.  Click on it, and it will take you to the Bandbox Music Store, where you can download the song.  This month's promotional song is a rockin' country tune called A LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT LOVE (written with Marty Rainone).

Of course there are many other songs available for download on the Music page.  To hear generous samples, go to the player at the top (These samples are longer than the ones in the Bandbox player, to give you more of a feel for the song).  When you find the ones you want, you can order them from the Bandbox player at the bottom.   Enjoy!
